Ideas for teaching with the Kinnect include the teaching of slope and having student walk a line to help understand what graphs represent functions and which ones don’t. I see it as a powerful tool for helping students understand the graph of a linear, or quadratic before introducing the equation. This technology will helo me put the visual first and allow Algebra 1 to become more visual and conceptual and less procedural.
